Registered Benedeto Construction as a formal trade name, upgraded to Grade 4 General Contractor, and expanded into larger construction and infrastructure projects. During this stage, Benedeto also advanced its real estate development direction, including the acquisition of prime land in Addis Ababa for a mixed-use development.
Entered the solar energy sector through its electromechanical wing after securing Electromechanical Contractor Grade Two status, positioning renewable energy, solar electrification, electrical works, and technical project delivery as major growth areas for the company.
Strengthened its wider project outlook through its sister-company relationship with JASBEL in Kenya, connecting Benedeto’s Ethiopian delivery experience with broader African energy and infrastructure ambition.
